Our Story

It started with a calendar for our home.

Trinity Press wasn't born from a business plan.

It started because we wanted a Catholic calendar.

We were looking for something that would help our family follow the liturgical year while still being beautiful enough to hang in our home. There were calendars that did the job, but so many felt visually dated. We ran into the same problem with Catholic clothing. A lot of it was loud, cheesy, or simply not something we would choose to wear if the message weren't Catholic.

We kept coming back to the same thought:

Why couldn't Catholic products be deeply rooted in the faith and genuinely beautiful at the same time?

So we started making what we wished we could find.

At the same time, we were asking a much bigger question.

We were newly married, raising our first son, and living several states away from most of our family because work had taken us to Virginia.

Like a lot of young families, we were trying to figure out what came next.

We prayed about it constantly. Nothing particularly complicated. We asked God to lead us, to give us the opportunity to provide a good life for our family, and to find a way for us to be closer to the people we loved.

We had asked God to make the answer obvious. He took us at our word.

Two weeks after our wedding, the career that had brought us to Virginia unexpectedly reached a crossroads. Staying meant moving into a completely different role, far outside the work that had brought us there in the first place. The alternative meant accepting an entirely different kind of uncertainty and moving home to Michigan.

Neither option came with guarantees.

But one of them brought us home.

We had been asking God for direction. Suddenly, there it was.

So we went home.

Michigan is where much of our extended family lives, and becoming parents had given new meaning to the phrase it takes a village.

We realized that building the life we wanted for our son wasn't only about work. It was about grandparents, relatives, community, faith, and having people nearby to share ordinary life with.

So we packed up, came home, and started building something new.

The little calendar project that had started at our kitchen table became something bigger.

Trinity Press was born.

Built together. Grounded in the faith.

Trinity Press was founded by Thomas and Alexis Beshke, alongside their close friend, Andrew Panzer.

From the beginning, we knew that if we were going to create products centered around the Catholic faith, getting them right mattered.

Andrew brought his experience working within the Archdiocese of Chicago to the project, helping with theology, liturgical accuracy, ideas, and the monthly reflections found throughout our first liturgical calendar.

That collaboration helped establish something we want to carry into everything Trinity Press makes:

Faithfulness should never be an afterthought. Neither should good design.

We want to create things Catholics are excited to bring into their homes, wear in everyday life, give as gifts, and share with others.

Not because they merely have something Catholic printed on them, but because they are thoughtful, beautiful, useful, and rooted in something greater.

Where does Trinity Press go from here?

We don't know.

And we're surprisingly comfortable with that.

Our goal isn't to force it into becoming something it isn't supposed to be.

We want to build faithfully, work hard, create things we're proud of, and see where God takes it.

If something we make starts a conversation, becomes part of someone's prayer life, helps a family live more intentionally within the rhythm of the Church, or brings even one person closer to God and the path He has for their life, then this company has accomplished something worthwhile.

More than a business.

From the beginning, we wanted Trinity Press to be a force for good beyond the products we sell.

That's why 10% of our profits are committed to charitable organizations doing meaningful work.

As an American business, we have a particular desire to support people and communities here in the United States. There is tremendous need throughout the world, but we also believe charity begins close to home and that caring for our neighbors is part of our responsibility to one another.

As Trinity Press grows, we'll share more about the organizations we support and the impact this community is able to make together.

This is year one.

There is a lot we don't know yet.

But we know why we started.

To create beautiful things rooted in the Catholic faith.
To build a good life for our family.
To use whatever success we're given to serve others.
And to follow where God leads next.

We're glad you're here for it.
